JR Theyre trying to be really cautious and trying not to-to break but basically were
building with or without Java and were building on UNIX and were checking it
out on the Mac and making sure everything is as clean as possible
MT and then the other platform would be the windows platform
JR Right we also have right now Raman is working on that he actually could use
some help maybe from were thinking Rick or Lloyd or uh to steal some

studio time to make sure the meg flags and get that as clean

OK you need the same kind of coverage on MAC
JR On Mac we have Gordon going so were in pretty good shape on that
Uh when you guys say UNIX builds do you mean Linux
JR uh were actually building on Solaris and dont know if well be testing on Linux
yet but the intent is to drop in UNIX build that gets us Linux build
MT This particular change should be fairly OSE independent its removing an existing
code not writing new code thats got Linux problems
Youve got other impact on the Mac project still pending right Scott so can you tell
Gordon when you go back to Java land to like..

JR Were not shipping IEC The intent is to scrub out all Java and that includes IFC
unless we have and now Javas not shipping IFC is not shipping Sun Javas
